Coco in the World

Here’s what I wrote on the About Page of my original blog in early 2008: “Your merry-eyed wanderer, your too honest prankster, who bought a bed recently.  It’s kind of hard to travel with that.”

This CocoInTheWorld blog has simmered for quite awhile. It is part mass phone call to my dispersed family and friends, part excuse to exercise meaningful writing muscles. It is infused with a perpetual (and sometimes rather bothersome) wanderlust and snobby penchant for all things organic and co-op.

You can take the girl out of LA, but you can’t take the LA out of the girl.  This is written for all parts of California’s soul, from a sometimes home in Oakland, California.  Happy reading.
